I've been taking our vehicles to A-1 for years and could not have asked for better service each time. I can always count on Bryan the service manager to give it to me straight even if that means they lose out on business. They've always assured us that if there are any issues with the work done, they will do their best to make it right. Fortunately, it has never come to that. A-1 is a great shop and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

A-1 is literally the only shop I'll trust with my car, not just because they always do a great job, but because I know they'll provide sound advice and I don't get that creepy feeling that I've been talked into something unnecessary. This particular visit, I needed them to go over the whole vehicle in preparation for a cross country trip, to check for anything that could potentially give me problems on the road. They alerted me to a few things that needed to be addressed, and communicated throughout the process. If you're looking for an honest, reliable car expert in Portland--this is the shop.

When have you ever heard a mechanic encourage you NOT to spend a fortune to fix you car?! We were on the fence about our older SUV and they took the time to present the pros and cons of putting money into the car. That’s A-1. The level of service and integrity is the best in the Pacific NW. Their guidance and recommendations always keep the customer first and we will continue taking all of our cars to A-1 whenever we need work done or have questions.
