Edit: changed from 3 stars to 2 stars after owner response. Disappointing to see the offense over 1) not wanting children biking around my car, and 2) my criticism of the lack of communication about what was included in the oil change. Regarding "Usually when a customer asks for an oil change, it's just an oil change...." Courtesy inspections are a thing, and I have never not gotten one when I've paid a premium like this. And kids are kids and have mishaps. Maybe I'm the first to complain because nobody else has seen it, or she's usually not that close, or people don't like complaining because people can be unusually defensive... *** Not totally sure what to make of this place. Called for an oil change on my Mazda and they got me in same day, great. Get the bill, it's $100+. I ask about it as it's higher than what I'm used to seeing (even with synthetic) and am told something to the effect of, "Ours is a bit higher since it's not really our main thing." Okay, that's one thing -- but I received nothing about any inspections done, other fluids filled, tires checked, etc. So I don't know if they even provided a service fitting their high-end pricing. (My car seemed to stay outside their garage so I don't have much confidence, unfortunately.) Also, when I went to get my car one of the employees' daughters was zooming around on a tricycle RIGHT next to my car. They really need to keep any children away from customer vehicles.

Late on a Friday night, my wife’s 370Z had grinding brakes. When I found out it was Saturday at 1 PM. We recently moved to Des Moines, WA and decided it needed to be done that day. Website says A2Z closes at 2 PM on Saturday. I had no expectation for them to work past their closing time. I just wanted to leave it there and pick it up on Monday. First thing I notice, is it is a family business. They got me in, ordered the parts and completed the job in a few hours. My wife and I are extremely appreciative as we are both on call for work and we were juggling how we were going to use one car. A2Z resolved that. We will use them as long as we live in King County.
