I ended up needing over $9,000 worth of work and they did absolutely everything they could to get my insurance claim processes and even drove me home and picked us up! Adam Dunn2 StarDon't trust them with engine diagnostics. Took my van in with engine ticking sound, they told me it would be 10k for a new engine replacement and the problem was not fixable / parts unavailable. After researching and speaking to the dealer I found the parts were indeed available online (OEM) and the problem was a very common one. In the end got the engine repaired elsewhere for 3k.
The worst part of the experience was how adamant they were that it was not fixable and the way they shrugged off the entire thought of a repair, which I believe is probably because they are a Jasper Engine rep. Also embarrassed me in a room full of mechanics trying to pressure me to replace it and laughing at the thought of repairing it. Literally laughing.
In the end I just needed a couple crankshafts and new lifters. Found out it was very common for my engine and not even an overly complicated repair. Now my van runs better than ever.
They seem like nice folks that run this place I just wouldn't trust their opinion when it comes to engine repair.Wednesday 15th December 2021
