I have been taking my vehicles here since I moved to New Milford. They were recommended by a friend. Every time I bring one of my vehicles here for repair or service Dimitri is always fair and upfront with what my vehicle needs. He does not try to upsell or add on things that my vehicle does not actually need. I appreciate this kind of service which is hard to find now a days. I will continue to bring my vehicles here for service. Thank you

You’ll want to stay away from this guy My car went in for a water pump on my particular model car the water pump is also part of the balance shafts There is a special tool used to do this water pump so that you don’t have to take off the timing cover. This is what he used. When my car was brought in I brought it in for a coolant leak ( which turned out to be the water pump) and to check the motor mounts. No vibrations He replaced the water pump and One motor mount. When I picked up the car it had a bad vibration which was not there when I brought it to him. He then said that it’s possible that a transmission mount is bad if not then the thought was that maybe it’s the balance shafts I understood this so the car was brought back to him to see if it was the mount. That was not the problem. The next step would be to look at the balance shift timing. Which is exactly what he worked on. When I stated that this was a problem because the car didn’t have a vibration when it came in. Then his excuses were I don’t know who worked on this before it made noises when it came in. Ok if the car made noises when it came in then why wasn’t I informed of this? Which I wasn’t. Don’t you think any legitimate repair shop would tell you about noises? As far as I was informed the only needed a water pump and the motor mount. Now I have a serious problem with the work he performed His response was I am fixing it for free. He would give me a discount to repair this vibration. Keep in mind that the thought is that the vibration is coming from the exact area he worked on I stated that this was unacceptable He didn’t care and was not going to fix it. I am going to take every action I can to rectify this ( small claims court, DMV, disputes with the bank) Here is an example of how he conducts business. He will charge you One hour for diagnosing you cars problem even if you have the work done with him. I don’t think any legitimate repair shop does this. Nearly a 80% markup on the water pump that was used. I checked the prices at local parts stores. I understand that there are mark up on parts but this is ridiculous I am sure he will respond to this as he commonly does. The bottom line is be very careful with this guy. It’s simple my car had no vibration before I was never told there was a vibration. Now it has a bad one and the next step is to look at the area he worked on. Which will be done by another shop
