Formed in July 2012 after founder, Bill Hajek, acquired our old shop (5608 Hegee Road) from longtime owner, Roy Powers -- we've upgrade a bit since then (5316 Heege Rd,); But we've remained a family run business, that has been going strong the better half of a decade. Bill is well known and respected in the Affton community; Is fully up to standard & certification, with a modern garage/equipment, & uses state of the art computers to diagnose/inspect and repair all types of vehicles. Refused to work on my car even after he messed it up the 1st time. Didn't add new wheel bearing like he charged me almost 600.00 for. Didn't even put the stabilizer arm back on! Bill I tried to talk to you. I just wanted my car fixed. Everyone else was wonderful as always. He just discriminated even after I took down the 1st post and tried to talk it out. After 2300.00 My alignment shouldn't be off over an inch and 2 ruined tires!! I just wanted my car fixed Bill but you can't just take my money and not even do the work!! I've got recordings too that aren't good and NEVER in my life have I felt so disrespected! After I gave him nearly 3k! Bill you can't take your feelings over me out on my car and my money and expect nothing... I tried.. AS ALWAYS DONNA AND BILLY THE STAFF THERE ARE THE BEST. AND I WISH THINGS WERE DIFFERENT WITH BILL(CONSIDERING IVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING TO HIM) BUT BRING HIM MONEY AND TRY.....

Wanted to give Affton Auto a good review, called before 7:00 to see if I could get a tire repaired and as usual Bill got me in and out so I could make it to work. Read the review from Brandon totally making Affton Auto out to be a bad place and Bill isn't fair or whatever he's thinking. I totally agree with the review from Steve, Bill is very professional and does great work unlike the bad review said. Ever since I met Bill he has been the only mechanic I will use, he has done numerous job's for me and I never question his work. Also being a family business they make you feel comfortable, alway's talk to Donna and Billy and they treat me with total respect and have seen the same courtesy to other customers. Like I said, I wouldn't use another mechanic and never question price or work done since the price's are very reasonable, so don't believe the trash talking because it is a great shop. Keep up the good work, best shop in Affton area!

I do not Know Brandon Mcgauley. I just read his bad review. I have been a long-time customer of Bill/Affton Auto Service for many years. Bill is very honest and professional. His wife Donna and he always go above and beyond for their customers. It is my hope you do not judge this family business on this one opinion. With Brandon's grammatical errors, I can see where he may not understand his bill. This is a tough time for all businesses and negative comments are important to address. I ask you to share your positive comments for Affton Auto Service. I take issue with Brandon thinking he was slandered. I think it is sad things cannot be worked out with such reasonable people. There is never a solution when you use google and the BBB as a weapon not a solution. I have total trust in this business. I am certain Bill and Donna did everything possible to resolve this issue. I guess it is hard to satisfy some people.

I've been bringing my vehicles to Affton Auto for several years now after moving into the area and it's because they are honest and do excellent work. Price is always fair and communications about repairs and turn around times are always clear. They even once called me after picking up my car to tell me my daughter had forgot her teddy bear in their office and they offered to drop it off at my house. Talk about going the extra mile!
