Alex is a really great mechanic! He has done work on my '95 Acura and saved me thousands of dollars over what I was paying other local shops before I met him. He is also a wonderful man who takes the time to explain what needs to be done and always offers the easiest and cheapest fix. He recently fixed a sticking starter, rather than opt for a replacement part he just installed new brushes which saved me, the starter hasn't stuck since. Good man, good work, I always recommend Alex when anyone asks for a mechanic referral and they have always been taken car of, and have been really happy with his work.

I found Alex online, as one of the first searches to come up in the area. My old Toyota truck was leaking gear oil from the differential pinion seal area, and there was a serious vibration and noise while driving. Turns out, I needed a drive shaft u-joint replaced, and he happened to have the part in stock in his shop. He fixed it quickly, and also checked for other concerns and problems. My truck runs smoother than ever now. Alex is very thorough, knowledgeable and affordable, and I recommend him to anyone with an import!

Alex has been servicing all three of our cars for a year now. He is a very good mechanic, knowledgeable and friendly. He goes out of his way to make sure that our cars are running their best and recommends ways that we can save money and help our cars last longer. It's great to have a mechanic you can trust!

I started fixing things when I was 10 years old, when I cleaned, greased, and reset all the bearing preloads on my bike. 44 years later, I still love fixing things that are well made. After working at Jim Ludy's Automotive Maintenance and Hugh's Foreign Car, (Toyota,Subaru,Nissan) in the early 80's, I started my own auto repair business in 1986. Working out of the back of a 1978 Toyota pick up, I strapped my Snap-On tool box to the tailgate and started my mobil service. In 1989 we bought our place here in the Santa Cruz mountains, where I now have a small shop to take care of my family of customers. Before the advent of the internet, I learned from Jim, that the best way to get new customers is to treat all your customers like family and friends.
