To be honest I wouldn't bring a car here if they were to offer the first repair free... Due to other circumstances I ended up here because of a friend making a mistake by choosing it. They seem extremely unprofessional, and you can tell there obviously dirty and unorganized by there front office and building. This is one of those places where you only go if you know the people or don't know any better. They may do quality-ish work but face to face they're extremely incompetent and unprofessional. The installed and remote start device for a friend and literally withing 3 miles ( no joke) the check engine light started flashing. We called them and they said a flashing engine light means theirs an electrical issue, but there's no chance the work they did caused it.... They were completely standoffish and unhelpful. I could understand coincidence but the check engine light was for a faulty ignition switch, minutes after being started the first time after a remote starter install. The car was fixed elsewhere because their demeanor and unwillingness to admit it could've been there fault!
UPDATE: I left this review last night. ( I didn't put the PBT install in original post because I didn't want to waste time explaining the situation. when the device they installed had to do with the ignition anyway)
This morning I get a call from my friend ( who had his PBT installed @auto-lab on my truck so he can drive it) they're so unprofessional that they denied his service now, and are trying to make up a violation to make him lose his license,
THEY SAID """"we're calling the PBT company and telling them you violated, that they have (me) on film attempting to tamper with the ignition"""" ( This obviously never happened)
all because they're upset with my review. What LIARS! They told him the reason was my fault. It's funny because my friend will get his issue resolved but this business obviously proved to be petty, and everything I've already stated has been reinforced. I leave fair honest reviews everywhere some great some negative but always list the reason. These guys are attempting to ruin my friends chance at getting his license because of a honest review I left.... CUSTOMER BEWAREFriday 4th March 2022
Justin M Turner-Eggeson3 StarFreeCOVID-19 Auto-Lab was easily accessible and the staff completely knowledgeable and friendly. Since COVID-19, the staff is still the same, however they have had to take measures to keep themselves safe and healthy in order to keep working which is completely understandable. They are still very helpful when speaking to them on the phone. Personally I have never had any problems with them pre-COVID-19 or recently with the new changes we’ve had to make. I cannot speak for others, only myself. All I can say is kindness and respect goes a long way along with understanding their side of things if you want to hire them for your vehicle repairs. They are still the same people they were pre-COVID-19. As long as you can deal with the safety measures and precautions, learn how to adapt and overcome, and the work can be done as usual.
