No complaints so far. One time I took in the suv for an oil change,they also let me know I needed new brake pads for the front wheels,which I requested that they be done . That's good service right there. Thanks.

They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. It may not be a big deal for most, but they have a very clean and organized shop. This tells me they have great attention to detail in everything they do. Those are the little things I want to see from a shop that I trust with my Daughters vehicle and her safety.

After South Side Marathon closed I didn’t know who to go to for auto repairs that I would be able to trust like the guys a Marathon. I was going to them for 20+ years. I seen Jimmy from Marathon around town and asked him who he recommended. So I recently gave Automotive Performance a shot. The were super friendly and and didn’t try to sell me anything extra. I had a noise from my brakes and thought I needed new pads. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me and told me there was 3/4 of the pads left and I didn’t need new ones. They suggested that if I was worried about the noise then they could clean the pads and see if that would work but no guarantee. I asked if I left them the way they were if there would be any harm. They told me no and it was up to me. They could have just replaced the brakes and put new rotors on and charged me several hundred dollars but they didn’t. So I am set at trusting thee guys 100% and am so glad there was at least one more honest automotive repair shop in town. I would recommend them to anyone. Trusting your repair shop keeps the stress level down and makes you feel good knowing you’re not about to get ripped off. Thanks guys you all see me again when needed.

I received a quote for this repair from the local Honda dealer. They claimed this part (#2 O2 sensor) would run around $600.00 from Honda and they said they do not trust any of the after market options because, in their experience, they would fail and the engine light would re-appear in days or weeks. I took it to John at A.P. and he basically agreed with them. He also concurred that part was indeed almost $600.00 from Honda. However, with a bit of very intelligent detective work, he was able to find the EXACT SAME PART (right down to the serial number) for a bit over $100.00! When all was said-and-done, I saved well over $500.00 on this repair by using Automotive Performance. Thank you, John, for going above and beyond expectations. I will never take my cars anywhere else.

I have used Automotive Performance for over 20 years for a variety of car repairs on many different vehicle. Jon and his team are very professional and when the work is completed, it is fixed properly. They use OEM parts when possible. Great customer service too!
