Isaac4 StarThey've been my go to place, but I didn't go with them for my latest brake job--if I can save 600 (off of the $1200 dollar quote) doing it myself it's not worth it to me to have someone else do it. I also mentioned that my wife thought the steering was off, but I told the technician it was probably just the warped rotors--he agreed and said they'd only look into it if it was necessary. They had to test drive it for the brakes and I understand charging me for the diagnosis there, but they also charged me the same amount for the steering diagnosis...felt a bit like a double charge (though they did also shake the front end).
Edit: Appreciate the response from the owner! And appreciate waiving shop supply fees for the diagnostic tests (assuming this is not uncommon for diagnostics). There was no work done on the vehicle, so I don't follow the need for a final test drive, but I think this place does its best to be transparent.Friday 25th February 2022
