I took my car to b&s automotive after it overheated. I was told the head gasket had blown by another company who didn't have the ability to fix it. So I told b&s I thought it was the head gasket (in which case I wouldn't want it fixed) but I would pay the $42 diagnostic fee just to get a second opinion before junking it. They called me back with a 'good news! It's not the head gasket', claiming it would be a few hundred dollars to repair a different component. I told them to go ahead and fix it. The next day they call me back to tell me it actually IS the head gasket that blew and that would cost over a thousand to fix. I declined that, But they now want to charge me $100 for the parts that they replaced. Which will now be going to the junk yard. I should not have to pay for their misdiagnosis. Especially when I told them upfront what the problem was. This place is a rip-off.

Have used B & S Automotive on multiple occasions now and have been highly satisfied with the service, communication and the pricing. Highly recommend this business for general car repairs.
