Haley swindall1 StarAbsolutely would NOT recommend. Was told I would need a new engine (after trying to start it up once and that’s it) , but I trusted his judgement. For the price I decided I would just purchase a new vehicle. I was told if my car wasn’t going to be fixed by him that I needed it out of his lot by Monday. I got it towed away from him on Sunday evening only to have a tow truck show back up at my house to take MY car away because it had an “outstanding bill”. He did not mention that I owed a bill the last time we spoke, all he said is that I needed to have my car towed away.
This was interesting to me considering he didn’t do ANYTHING. When asked what I owed for, he got very hateful on the phone, and told me I owed him for the 2 quarts of oil he put in my car (which is fine because I understand he needs to be paid for supplies) and an hour of labor. When asked what labor was performed he stuttered and told me he was on the phone for an hour looking for a motor. He yelled at us over the phone, and threatened to sue us and the tow company. He ended up hanging up on me which is so unprofessional!
Also let me mention, he still had my keys in his shop, which I had to come back for anyways.
Basically after reading other reviews I will definitely have someone else look at it because I’m realizing he gave me a quote without even looking at it for longer than 5 mins. Worst Experince I’ve had at a mechanic ever.Monday 15th November 2021
