Been meaning to post this for a while! At end of October ‘21, I was driving cross-country from upstate New York to Arizona when I hit some heavy crosswinds on I-80, triggering all my emergency lights to go off on my dashboard. Admittedly I was a little nervous because I was smack in the middle of the USA and thousands of miles away from knowing anybody. So I randomly popped my head into this CarQuest in Ogallala, NE, hoping for some guidance as to what might be wrong. A very nice guy (I think his name was Tim? … I forgot to write it down) that worked there went out of his way to come out to my RAV-4, plug in a car code reader, and detect that nothing serious was wrong while turning off all the emergency lights in the process. I was so appreciative and relieved! He wouldn’t even accept a tip I offered him, either. AND, right before I was about to pull away he came back out, flagged me down, and made a mention to check my gas cap because sometimes a loose cap can trigger those lights to go on as well. I went on my way so very glad that sheer randomness led me to this place. You guys are lucky to have such a friendly, helpful place in Ogallala! Saved the day! 👍🏻
