I appreciate a business who overtly appreciates their customers. My general preference is to aim for privately owned small business -- keep resources circulating within the community. Dan, the owner, has always demonstrated his intent to keep each customer as his priority, where others might view my value only as high as the repeat and referral business I bring. Dan's approach is to treat the vehicles - our cars, vans, and trucks - as if they were his kids vehicles -- no greater motivation than that of a parent to ensure safety and long-term reliability over what would otherwise be one or more tons of explosive wrecking balls on the road. It's important, and he takes his service, responsibility, and commitment as seriously as any self-respecting adult would, or at least should. Dan also knows his customers. They aren't just walking ledger statements and line-items, we... Oddly enough.... We are, in fact, people. To him. And so the care and treatment we receive is better than just what you'd get from a larger company, where human effort only goes as far as temporal, limited, transactional customer satisfaction. And it's rather fitting that I was introduced to Dan and Chico Car Care via referral. Do what he does, and the referrals do in fact grow organically.... Folks in Silicon Valley, etc. might do well to take note.

I have been taking my car to Chico Car Care for about 3 years now. Each time I’m surprised by the level of customer service they provide. They are quick to book appointments, quick turn around, the prices are fair and they provide a detailed report on the condition and maintenance schedule for your car. I love the report it helps budget for upcoming maintenance and eliminates any surprises.

Needed to replace the clutch on my Toyota Tacoma. Not much to say, really, other than Dan and his team were professional and did an excellent job. After inspection I decided to get more work on rear brakes and parking brake and transmission fluid, etc. Dan gave reasonable rates and now my truck drives like new. Very satisfied with the work and will go there again for future services.

My Hyundai Sonata was acting up sporadically. Took it in to try and see what was wrong. They spent two days trying to determine what was causing the issues I was having. They were able to replicate the issue but they weren't able to figure it out what the cause was. They were up front with me about being stumped and didn't want me to spend a bunch of money having them try and fix an issue they weren't sure how to. They let me take it home without charging for the work they'd done trying to troubleshoot my issue. Would definitely recommend bringing your car here. They won't try to upsell you with a bunch of unneeded services or repairs. Great experience even if they couldn't resolve my car issue!
