I hired them to rehang 6 simple fixtures I had taken down to paint. So, literally just reattach the wires + screws. They had 2 men here for 1 hour, needed one simple part and the bill was $459 or something in that neighborhood. I thought that was excessive but I didn't ask ahead, so opted to see it as a lesson to myself to get quote prior to install next time. I forgot this is post covid and business owners are taking advantage of consumers because they think they can blame the economy and our politicians. In any event, the real kicker here is they reinstalled correctly and then acted like I was an angry unreasonable customer when I called to schedule redo. That didn't go well so I sent the owner an email explaining the situation. He never replied. I followed up one time given that it's the busiest time of year and I gave consideration to the fact that he may be going in too many directions. No response to date...........sorry to report the bad news this business has been around a long time.

I've given a TON of business to Crawford, despite the poor service and attitude I've experienced with one of their employees who goes by the name of Skyler. His arrogance and tendency to try to overcharge is offensive. He quoted me $1800 for a job to hang lights in my kitchen, most likely because he thought they didn't charge enough for my living room chandelier. Then the owner ends up quoting $1000 cheaper, so obviously Skyler had some agenda there. I was able to get past the disappointment I experienced with Skyler by requesting to not work with him again. I wanted to have two motion lights installed, which were done and had to be adjusted another day, which is fine. The other work was to have a Ring doorbell installed. The electrician Mark was fumbling on how to get this done and was supposed to get back to me with an update on what he needed. I never heard back from anyone at Crawford for two weeks. I called the receptionist and she said she would call Mark and call me right back. I never heard from her, called back and encountered an attitude from her and she seemed pretty happy when I mentioned I'd be going to another service provider. I would have to say the main reason for writing this review, was due to how poorly the receptionist handled my situation and with just a "I don't care" attitude and seemed annoyed with me when I questioned why I didn't hear back from anyone in over two weeks. I've given Crawford a lot of business. Very disappointing.

We had another electrician come out to install a ceiling fan. For whatever reason the previous electrician was unable to do the job once the old fan was removed, leaving me with a hole in my ceiling. We contacted Crawford Electric and we were immediately given an appointment. I feared this was going to be a huge undertaking based on the previous guy. When Skyler and Will arrived, they immediately assessed the situation, put me at ease and took care of it in no time. The gentlemen were very professional and courteous. Keeping me informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Crawford Electric and a big SHOUT OUT to Skyler and Will. I will certainly be using them in the future.

The outlets on our patio were malfunctioning and one smoked when we tried to use it. I could smell the electric burning smell and called after hours. Jeff said that Schuyler was on the way. We used Crawford to complete three phases of inside electric work over the last year and were pleased with their work and timeliness. Today was top-notch. Schuyler was the best person to work at our home since we moved here. Schuyler identified the problem, fixed it, replaced two GFCI outlets, and was just a really great person with whom to talk. When we have an electric issue in the future, we will ask for Schuyler. He knows his stuff, is personable, and tidy. Schuyler is the type of person who loves his job, the customers, and best represents a super company like Crawford Electric.
