On the morning of January 23, 2021 (Saturday) I had just left my hotel in New Orleans after picking a 2005 Mercedes E500 in Atlanta Georgia and driving it back to Austin Texas where I lived. Not long after leaving my hotel in New Orleans, the car (which had minor front end damage) began overheating and I knew I would need a new radiator. After for stopping by O’Reilly‘s auto parts in LaPlace, an employee recommended that I drop by Donnie’s and gave me directions. Even though I showed up at noon, one hour before closing on Saturday, Donnie and his employees made sure I was taken care of. They located the only radiator in the area (which fortunately was in Kenner), and also stayed past 3 PM making sure it was installed correctly. The car was repaired perfectly and I left Laplace, making it back to Central Texas before midnight that night. Fast forward to late August of this year, when I was horrified to see the damage caused in Laplace. Everyone at Donnies car care, and many others and will plaster mold were very helpful to me when I was there. The sheriffs department there even pulled me over for speeding but didn’t give me a ticket. I really hope all the people I came across in South Louisiana came out of that storm uninjured. We get our fair share of tropical storms and hurricanes in Texas, but thankfully I’m far enough inland to wear the problems are never that bad. I know that area of Louisiana took it extremely hard in August, both of the flooding loss of power for such a long period of time. In closing, if you’re thinking of taking your car to Donnies for repair, you should feel comfortable knowing you’re taking it to the right place. Not only did they do a quality job with repairing my car, but they fixed it at minimal cost, and did so staying late on Saturday. If not for Donnies, I would have had to stay in a hotel for two more nights until Monday morning. I should have typed this message months ago, but better late than never. Again, I hope everyone in that area is doing a little bit better than they were a couple of weeks, or a couple of months ago. People there seem pretty tough there, so I’m sure you’ll get back to where you need to be. Thank you for staying after hours to fix my car! You did a great job. - Greg Marquess - Austin Texas.

I have been through soo many junkyard mechanics damaging my car pretending to know what they were doing for a quick buck, but Donnie is NOTHING like the other mechanics I have dealt with. He is honest explains exactly what is wrong with your car and breaks down why he is charging you whatever price for labor. I literally will not let ANYONE other than him & his team touch my car for repairs.
