Steve H5 Star2005 Mercedes Alternator failure. Decided to save $350 and change it myself, and have it rebuilt. Removed from car (no easy task) checked voltage regulator brushes...SHOT. Called for quote to rebuild and dropped off at their shop. Done the next day and for $10.00 less than quoted.
