I was up the street on the side of the road. I called several times to see if he could help. First, he stated it would $75 just to hook the car up and take it 900 ft down the road would be an additional charge. Then I manage to get the car to the shop. I had a flat tire and my lug nuts were stripped. He stated he couldn’t do it that same night and would have the lug nuts replaced. While trying to get the lug nuts off, he said out his mouth “ it’s like this because the car is so poorly maintenance.” Now I feel that was jab but okay. He then called at 8:30am the next day stating the car was ready. When I got there. The total was $87 to replace lug nuts and to put the spare on. He couldn’t present a service receipt and just stated it was $87. Didn’t explain what I was charge for or anything. He was extremely rude and seem to have an issue with people of color. I would suggest to stay far away from this auto shop. This experience I had was something I would never want anybody else to go through especially during the holidays.

I had my breaks give out while driving and ended up having to coast to Elkins Park Auto Works with little to no call-ahead. I had expected to pay an arm and a leg and to be without transportation for the better part of a week. But to my surprise, the car was fully repaired in less than 24 hours and the price came in about $100 under what I'd been expecting it to be. Larry was very helpful, quick, and explained to me in detail everything that would be done and every part that needed to be purchased before doing so. Very glad that this was the place I chose to bring my car to and highly recommend it for anyone.
