If you’re wondering when to change your oil, you’re not alone. Our tire and auto service professionals recommend changing your vehicle’s motor oil on a pretty regular basis in order to maintain the life and longevity of your car. As far as how many miles between oil changes, we don’t recommend changing your oil more frequently than every 3 months or 3,000 miles, unless otherwise specified by your vehicle’s manufacturer guidelines. To maximize the life and performance of your vehicle, oil changes among other routine checks, depending on the time and season. Some of these parts of your vehicle should be checked regularly, and others only in the long run. Be sure to follow your vehicle’s maintenance schedule and service interval record. 112 degrees in Arizona and my A/C died - PANIC!! Not to worry, my daughter referred me to Gilbert's Auto and I dropped in hoping they could help. They immediately assessed the problem, gave me an estimate, and had it up and running very quickly. I drove away and happy (and COOL) customer.
