Spanish Fly5 Starplease read update below- it’s been about 5 months since my truck was repaired here. 2 weeks ago, the same exact problems it was having 5 months ago, resurfaced. My truck has powered off at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks.
original review
$620 to change fuel pump and filter .they did a great job on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 . Truck was towed in on a Friday morning and was ready to drive on Tuesday afternoon. The staff are all very courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. They were very helpful in explaining the repairs my truck needed as well as made some suggestions. The quote at the dealership for the same work was $800 plus. My truck is running well and I am very satisfied with the job they did. I will recommend this shop to others and I will bring my truck here again
**UPDATE Dec 2021
Well, its been about 5 months since my truck was towed in and fixed at Gomez Auto Repair. My truck was running great and I didn’t have any problems with it. 2 weeks ago ( early Dec 2021 ), my truck started acting up again, same exact problems it was having 5 months ago. It is such a scary feeling to be driving 70 mph on a highway and suddenly your vehicle decides to power off. The steering wheel stiffens up and is impossible to turn in any direction. No lights, you cant accelerate, it is scary as hell. I realize my truck is old but I was hoping to get at least another year out of it. I don’t have another $600 to blow on it nor do I have enough to buy another truck. I regret spending the money to fix it 5 months ago. I wasn’t expecting a miracle when i had it fixed last time but I also wasn’t expecting the same problems to resurface in only 5 months. Im not very happy right now.Tuesday 28th December 2021
