I am so happy I found Island Electric! We are in the process of adding an in-law suite to our home and needed a licensed electrician to wire it as well as wire the new AC unit. I was collecting quotes from other electricians when one of them noticed I had a list of other electricians on my table. He pointed out Island Electric and said they are good electricians and good guys. If this electrician was willing to compliment his competition it meant that Island Electric was doing something right to earn his respect. After meeting JR and walking through the job I knew he was the guy we were going to hire. He didn’t hem and haw or try high sales pressure, he was a straight shooter and after dealing with so many salesmen I truly appreciated JR’s demeanor. JR and Ralph were so great to work with... Kelli too, she returned calls quickly and was very respectful and helpful. They were punctual and very knowledgeable and set me at ease immediately. JR and Ralph were extremely efficient in their job and got it completed in a day and a half! They left the job site clean and tidy. We will always use and recommend Island Electric from now on! Their prices are extremely fair and it’s clear that they take pride in their work. Thank you!

Can't say a negative thing about our first experience. Initial call resulted in leaving a message, they called back when they said they would on the voicemail, scheduled an install for 3 fans within a week, Ralph and J.R. showed up right when they said they would, were polite and efficient with their time, didn't leave a mess and left an invoice. Payment was via a check and they also mentioned it could be handled via Venmo. Would recommend to anyone needing electrical service and will call them again when needed!

After leaving an electrician that gouged us every chance they got, we stumbled this loser company. Not only couldn’t they schedule or show up EVER when promised, but they failed to collect a $100 check last visit while my husband was home. They would not mail an invoice or take a credit card. During the holidays I was contacted numerous times to leave a check by the door, which I did..over and over. Also I had to continually call the gate for them to access which I did. Par for the course I had to listen to Katie’s (the owner apparently) sob story about they just couldn’t make it out, over and over. Then after another week or two I get a phone call to leave them the check again, Katie says our stars were crossed. Mine weren’t. I did as she asked. I dared to say no one is showing up just send me a bill, I was tired of calling the gate and leaving the check. She was not pleased. She called me “rich one” and some other choice language I can’t post here. Lovely business! I warned her I’d have to post a review but she said she would write things about us having trouble with another electrician, which we did..,because they gouged us. But since Katie thinks we are so rich (In my dreams) then perhaps the gouging was probably worth having to deal with her pervasive unprofessionalism. Katie I can’t wait for you to review us along with other customers that try to pay you over and over and put up with your verbal abuse. Have at it.
