Took my Kia here for some noises it was making, dealership did not notice anything, but JAR found what was causing the issue and fixed it. They found several other issues, some of which I am skeptical. I recently had my brake fluid replaced, and they said my car needed it again. It was probably an honest mistake, but you never know. Just putting it out there. Would be 5 stars if that didn't happen. Very quick turnaround time though and very nice! Online scheduling made everything very easy. Edit: The owner called me and explained why the brake fluid may have seemed dirty. He was very thorough and patient in his explanation. I appreciated the follow up, it's always great to see people who really care about their customers. For this reason, I feel like this shop should be 5/5 and I am changing my rating. Thank you for addressing this with me!

I had my “Check Engine” light come on shortly before an anticipated business trip. JAR was able to inspect my vehicle quickly, make all repairs same day. Communication was excellent, and facility was very clean and comfortable.

Make: Honda Model: Odyssey EX Year: 2014 I dropped my vehicle off the night before service with a request for a phone call prior to commencement of work, despite signing the drop envelope that actually authorizes JAR to begin work. The shop opens at 7:30 AM, and by 7:35, Patrick was on the phone calling me to go over my final concerns, as this was my first experience in working with them. He told me that regarding some of my concerns, he would be in contact with me in order to discuss any work that is needed. Before noon, I had received that call and discussed new findings from my requested diagnosis. He was clear on what any issues were as well as their severity, with no pressure to perform the work. As such I felt like I was in full control of what services were being performed on my vehicle. The work I finally requested was not trivial (such as the timing belt service, which requires a fair amount of disassembly to complete), and was not all in just one portion of the engine (timing belt vs suspension linkages vs transmission fluid flush). Despite this, Patrick was optimistic, that given the part arriving from their source, the work could be completed by that day or the next. I was expecting a minimum of two days, but I am not a mechanic and have always done my tooling around without a lift or air tools. The vehicle was done the same day. The communication was excellent, the turnaround was astounding, the pricing was fair (compounded by lack of scare tactics to upsell, also Patrick was willing to see what competitor coupons I had). I'm very pleased with going to this shop for service, and will definitely come here for any future needs. Final note, after driving my vehicle after service, the issues I had are clearly gone, and my vehicle is definitely in far better condition after the work.
