Wow, what amazing and honest service! I was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey van that overheated and died on me. I didn’t call ahead, just walked up to JD’s office and told Jeff what the problem with the car was. They looked at it right away, and I’d say spent over 30 minutes checking it out. Unfortunately, the radiator was shot and coolant entered the engine, which means the engine probably has a crack/leak/blown gasket, so the van basically needs a new engine, to the best of my understanding. I asked how much I owed them for their service, and they didn’t even charge me. I’m bummed the van is totaled, but I’ve never experienced better, more honest service, and would have been happy to pay them for their time diagnosing the issue, but they didn’t charge me at all. I grew up in a family business (jewelry) that treats every customer fairly and honestly, and it was so good to see another business like JD’s automotive focus on service and not try to sell me something (like a new radiator) that wouldn’t have solved the problem. I recommend this auto repair shop to anyone!
