I used to do all my own maintenance on my vehicles. These days I don't have the time, but how do you know if a job is done right if you don't do it yourself? I was very disappointed when I took my vehicle to the Glenwood Springs dealership and I kept finding evidence that they were checking the box next to steps that they were clearly not performing. If you can't trust your local dealership, who do you trust with your vehicle maintenance? I read the reviews and decided to give Jim's Automotive a try. I was pretty floored when I took my vehicle to Jim's Automotive and they sent detailed pictures to me of each of the checks they had performed - proving that they didn't just check the box next to the service, but that they actually had their eyes on these items. They don't expect me to just believe them when they tell me they checked the fluid in the rear differential - they sent me photographic evidence! WOW! I also love that these pictures are kept so that I can see the progression of wear over time. Add to this that when one of the parts they installed failed (through no fault of the garage), they replaced it free of charge and kept at it until I was completely happy. When a garage stands behind its work, that is an indicator that their word is important to them - a rare commodity these days. I was also very impressed by the friendliness at the front desk. They were very personable and gave me detailed information about what parts would be needed as well as an estimate of the costs and potential risks involved. The communication was thorough and honest. Matt especially was very helpful, but Victoria is also friendly and helpful and they work together as a team. Even the owner came out and chatted with me for a bit - which is something else I love - locally owned and operated. The bag of popcorn left on the front seat also brought a smile. All of these snapshots add up to the fact that I have more trust in this garage than I have found in a LONG time. These folks think of everything, it seems. I can't recommend them high enough and I hope they continue to honor these business practices, because I won't go anywhere else while they do. A+++++

There are plenty of kind words to share about this business, but the people working here are hands-down the most professional, kind, and patient mechanics you could ever hope to have around! We were broken down, brought to Jim's Automotive and had no one to turn to. Matt, Jim, Geronimo and others were amazing and helpful with every step of the process. Thank you guys for everything you've done!

After driving from Denver to Glenwood I realized my 4 wheel drive was out. I pulled into Jim’s right before a storm and was welcome in and Jim and team quickly fixed the problem and had me back on the road!
