richard martin5 StarWe were travelling from our home in Washington State to our grand-daughters graduation in Florida. We had a 100,000 mile service performed by our local mechanic prior to our leaving. As we were driving east of Price, our car began running rough, the check engine light came on and there were several malfunction messages flashing in our driver information center. We returned to Price and ended up at John's Auto Tech and Tire. Travis listened to our story and noted that the OBC code showed a cylinder misfire. He took the time for the job he was already working on and researched what might be wrong with our vehicle. He made a diagnosis. As he began to examine the coil pack on the number 4 cylinder he noted that the wires had not been firmly attached. A quick fitting of the connection and we were set to go. Total time was about fifteen minutes. When I asked what we owed, he stated nothing was owed as he had not done anything. As a retired couple traveling across the country he had made it possible to continue our trip. When the vehicle broke down, had visions of being at the mercy of a mechanic who would see the out of state plates and an old couple. The staff at John' s was courteous, professional, efficient, and compassionate, The town of Price Utah should be proud of this business.Wednesday 9th June 2021
