I went to get an estimate for my car after getting a check engine light and having AC issues. I've been trying to decide whether I should trade it or try to get it fixed. At first I was really impressed with my interaction with Killian Hill. I was communicated with effectively, at least that's what I thought. When I was called to ask whether or not I wanted to make any repairs on my car after asking for an estimate of what it would look like to even fix my car. We discussed my options and I let them know that I wasn't going to put money into it. And they actually agreed it was the right decision. They informed me they were able to get my air working, something I didn't ask them to fix - only wanted an estimate done for. Seeing as they didn't ask me if I wanted it fixed beforehand and I had already said I wasn't going to put money in the car and that this was for an estimate - I tried to get clarification on the next steps and see if there would be any cost and was told just to pick up the car. But the question was never really answered while I was on the phone. I was at work so my boyfriend went to pick it up instead. When he got there they charged us $150 for the AC repair. I don't mind paying for work being done, WHEN I AM ASKED ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND but they didn't ask me if they could repair the AC and I had already expressed that I wasn't going to invest in the car anymore. So when I found out I had been charged for something I didn't even want done I was really disappointed. I had went the entire interaction thinking I had been treated fairly and that communication was clear and concise. But I got my car back feeling like I had been taken advantage of. I truly hope all of this is just a misunderstanding and that this isn't the way they communicate with all customers who are asking about estimates, because I would have gladly tipped and left a very different, HAPPY review if this had not happened.

If you call Killian Hill Service Center, you will immediately notice a friendly professionalism that I have found to be rare for the auto service industry. From the first moments that you talk with Chris, it feels as if you are getting good, accurate advice from a trusted friend. His knowledge is tempered and delivered through patience. All this was evident by just a phone call. He has my car and my trust.

Absolutely the ONLY place I will take my car. The owner, Chris, is so kind and helpful, and really knows his business. All of the guys that work on the cars are extremely knowlegeble and helpful also. Chris makes you feel like you can ask any question, and he is happy to answer. Great place and great people and SUPERB work!!!
