Matlock Tire Service & Auto Repair began as a small service station in Lenoir City, TN, back in 1953. It was founded by Joe Matlock, who built his business on treating customers fairly and providing excellent service to them. After 68 years, his son, Jimmy Matlock, has expanded the business to five locations: Lenoir City, Farragut, Athens, Maryville, and Hardin Valley. Jimmy, like his father, is devoted to customer service. Matlock Tire is a full service auto repair shop, providing not only tire services, but also oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, and more! They got me in early and were super professional. I needed 2 tires and I thought brake pads but they informed me that my brakes were just fine despite what the dealership said. When dealing with anything auto related, everyone always holds trustability really high so I’ll definitely be going back to Matlock in the future. Thanks for the great experience! I got a flat tire and Matlock was able to work me in. I got 4 new tires and an alignment in a hour…on a Saturday! The people who helped us were super nice, funny, and made sure I was completely satisfied with everything. They made a regular customer in me! Great new business in Hardin Valley. Was in and out in 25 minutes. Tire had slow leak. Ended up having 2 nails in it and needed to be plugged. They didn’t even charge me. Just hoped I would come back for all my tire needs. Will be back for sure with that kind of customer service. Especially in this day and age. Highly recommend. Great timely service , knowledgeable and pleasant!

My family and I were on our trek from Florida, back home to Ohio. We had a service light come across our vehicle right outside of Athens. We stopped by Matlock to see if they could assist us with our issue. Their associates couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They promptly assessed our situation which allowed us to get back on our journey in a timely manner. Thank you so much for your professionalism and, more importantly, your kindness!!!

I've had my brakes done here before and had good service and left a good review as well. It came time for my car to get a tune-up so my wife scheduled for preventative maintenance on the website. After e-mailing with a member of the team in Athens we were told that modern cars do not get tune-ups and that spark plugs would cost 139.99. To be told that modern cars don't get tune-ups when it's literally offered on the website goes to show the level of competency of the Athens location.

The employees at Matlock were very friendly, professional, & honest. I usually don't write reviews, but these guys absolutely deserve it! I've never had a better experience getting my car worked on than I have with them and from now on, I will always go to them. I was greeted as soon as I stepped out of my car and the price I paid for their services was definitely reasonable. Awesome establishment, work done, and employees
