While driving to work my car almost completely broke down on me so I got a tow to McKeirnan's. Kristi and Mike were super helpful getting me a good quote and fixing up my car the next day. Thank you for helping me get back on the road so soon!

Owner cherry picks jobs. Brought my pick up in for a possible water pump, Discuss with them over the phone changing the water pump if needed they agreed that was something they do. Once problem was diagnosed as a coolant line which connects to the water pump and has to be removed in order to change the water pump they said that was something they don't do. Simply questioned why they refused to work on it we were asked to leave the shop! Save your self the drive and go to jiffy lube. Oil change on a 6.4 liter Ford cost me $165..... no synthetic oils!

Update. after reading the below review he called my son in the AM and said there was a confusion in the office and the truck was fixed. He wanted me to take down this review. My son went down to get the truck and while in the morning he did do some work so the truck was drivable off the lot and he did not charge us. We decided to instead have it towed to the dodge dealership as it was not fully repaired and he did not want to complete the repairs. I moved my stars up to two since he did not charge us and did do a partial repair. After calling in and explaining the problem we had the car towed in and the promised we had a Monday 9 am appt when we called back at 4 to ask about the status we were told oh I don’t work on diesels he never looked at it. You knew the make model and problem before we wasted a tow and then only after we called you you decide to tell us you don’t work on diesels. Can I rate zero stars? Parents beware there is a reason people rave about Jerry’s he up front told us he could not do the work..

The crew at McKernan's are definitely worth a look. Very personable and upfront with their pricing and their current workload they have done work for me in the past and they will continue to do work for me in the future as I am completely pleased
