We’ve been to Meineke countless times, my family used Meineke way before I could even drive. So when we go there we expect quality service and honest people and work. And usually that’s not a problem, but this last visit was ridiculous and unprofessional. First, we received two different estimate numbers and then when we went to pay, it was another different price. Then they were really pushy about a service we did not want because we “have a bunch of leaks, but we’re not sure if it’s more than one.” Not really sure if they know we have more than one or not, even though I had my car inspected elsewhere and they said it was one leak, so okay? Then they conducted an overall diagnostic of my car listed with all the problems my car has and services my car needs, such as a coolant flush, even though I had just gotten one literally months prior, which I informed them about when it happened because I had to take it in there because my engine was overheating. When I got my car back there was a rattling sound in my hood that definitely was not there before I dropped it off, so not really sure about that one. We have given so much service to Meineke because of the honest people working there but recently it just feels like they’re trying to take advantage of people who they think don’t know as much about cars and are trying to push unwanted services onto people for a quick cash grab. So disappointed with this place, it used to be a place we 100% trusted but now we’re not going back unless there are serious changes. Truly disappointing to see what Meineke has become in just a few months.

I left a 5 star review on this place about a year ago. And I still stand by that review. I've been going here for about 10 years with nothing but positive experiences. Recently I went in for a scheduled oil change. Donnie wasn't there like usual, but hey. everyone takes a day off once in awhile I figured. The guy in his place, George was nice enough. I handed him the keys, The mechanic eventually went out and got in my car. I was watching for him to pull into the garage when he then pulled off the lot and headed south down the Outer Road. "Where is he going with my car", I asked. George replied, he's going down to the stop sign and back to check for vibrations. I told George I just wanted an oil change, and my car is under warranty and I will take it to the dealer if it needs anything else. That was slightly awkward. George remained pleasant to talk to. I asked where Donnie was and he explained the whole new ownership situation and Donnie and Jeff and their crew were gone. Ahhha....now it all made sense. The whole reason to drive my car is to find something wrong with it to upsell me something. I was just glad to get out of there without the ol', you need a coolant flush and transmission fluid change spiel. I gave 3 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, and because George was nice enough. But test driving a car when you weren't asked to, is a huge red flag to me. After reading some of these other recent reviews I doubt I will be going back.

I spent a 1,000$ on a/c repair and even more for all new brakes. The brakes kept squeaking and when I returned to ask why the manager told me it’s just how I drive, and the a/c stopped working again. I just skipped them and went to Honda. Honda dealership just confirmed that my a/c has multiple holes in the compressor and that’s why it doesn’t work and my rotars and brakes are shot. This is less then 5 months from when it was repaired. I am now paying the Honda dealership to fix since it since it’s not only obvious that I was ripped off by meineke but insulted when I tried to request that they hold up to their word and their warranties. This place is untrustworthy in my opinion.
