I recently visited the Meineke Car Care Center on State and was very impressed with their attention to detail and expert customer service. From the moment I stepped in to their small but well-outfitted waiting area to the moment I picked up my car, I was treated right and felt that my CV axle replacement process was in good hands. With under a 10-hour turnaround and decent communication, I will definitely be returning in the future! They told my wife she needed a new battery AND a alternator! After selling her a cheaply made and over-priced battery, they then wanted to charge $850 to change her alternator?? They said I had to pay $250+ just for the part because it was the only one they could get, and it’ll take a couple days:. I found one a mile away for $160 that afternoon. Turns out the battery was fine, just needed the alternator.

I lost my power steering and pulled into Meineke on State Street in Boise. The place was busy, but the guys said they would fix my problem. In a short time the mechanic had my car fixed with a new steering pump and parts. They were extremely professional and helpful throughout the process and didn’t drain my wallet. I will be returning to them for more business in the future. A+++ Service and value.

They had a fair price for the wheel hub fix. Meineke found the issue that led schwab couldn’t fix or incorrectly diagnosed. Only issue is they are good so they are busy. The two people who help at the desk are awesome and super cool trustworthy people
