MaKenna Wilmot2 StarWent here to get brake fluid put in my car and they asked if I wanted to pull it in to have it checked for leaks told them no I didn't think it was leaking for a couple reasons just wanted some brake fluid put in. They go in back come out and tell me that they are out of brake fluid. While I'm sure that probably happens it was just a weird vibe and while they did suggest another place to go nearby I was stunned they weren't super friendly either and probably could have at least offered to check my brake fluid to make sure I'd even make it to the next place because I had already told them I couldn't check it because the outside of the reservoir was too dirty and I couldn't get the cap off.Thursday 9th December 2021
Mob6 CCJP1 StarIll preface this by saying in the past I had used midas almost exclusively and fairly regualrly. But recently My brake pads were getting a little worn. I wanted them changed. Tried to sell me almost 2 grand worth of parts when they can be had for half that easily and I only wanted pads anyway. Labour wasn't an issue, it never is. But respecfully, you're a mechanic, not a salesman.Thursday 25th November 2021
Rachel KARR1 StarMy husband and I have been going here for years, until I found out how much they were overcharging us. Just recently got a quote for $1200 and were told that they will price match as long as it is from a "reputable" car repair shop. We got a quote from a "reptuable" car repair shop in the same area as Midas, that is licensed and been in business for over 30 years. This quote was for $430, because the price comparison was too low they would not price match. I am telling everyone and their brother NOT to go to Midas.Tuesday 28th September 2021
