I have to give them full credit for being thorough. If you go in there for one problem, they are so attentive to detail they will find at least two other things wrong with your vehicle that they must fix right away. When it comes to replacements they will never skimp and stick you with a less expensive yet serviceable substitute. Nothing less than top dollars on their parts for their customers, since it is the customers who will be paying for those parts. They are so full of attention to detail that a 2 hour repair will easily take 4 hours as they make sure they didn't skip anything, like looking for some other opportunity to bill the customer.

Because I have recently been experiencing a fading (soft) brake pedal, I decided to take my vehicle to the Decatur, Al branch of Midas Auto Service and Tires to have the problem diagnosed. It was refreshing to be reminded that there are still businesses that operate in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. The gentlemen at this store all but floored me with their knowledgeable and down-right friendly service and affordable pricing. I will confidently recommend Midas of Decatur to anyone that I know to be in need of brake or tire service. Just ask for Mike or Mitch. Thanks guys.

When in for an oil change and new tail lights. now my brake lights dont work nor where i shift gears and my cars stops and dies. Would not recommend this place . would advise everyone to go to a different place unless you want to get your car messed up. They just mess up your car.

Wanted to replace my rear brake pads and rotors. Was told the they wouldn't be able to do it because one of my brake calipers and brake hoses needed to be replaced. I brought my own rotors and pads. He would quote me this for almost $800. That's including a $20 oil change. I decided not to do business here. I left, took his advice and bought a new brake caliper. I took my car to another prominent company here in Decatur. I told them what I needed done. I had all the new parts. They quoted me only $275 which is less than half of what midas quoted me for. So I left my car there for a little under a hour. I came to get my car and they told me that my brake calipers were just fine. So they dropped the price to $180 and that also included a $30 oil change. I'm sorry Midas, but I will not be doing business with you in the future. Shout out to express oil change for being fair and honest
