Mike and staff (Mark) absolutely saved our vacation. On the way down from Hershey Pa our Chevy Suburban started shutting down at various times and locations (a very dangerous situation) I immediately hopped online to read what might be causing this to happen. I found many of the same instances that others were having. After about a 6 hour trip we by the grace of God we limped into OC and right in front of our hotel it shut down again. Immediately I hit the net looking for a shop to take a look at it. I usually average out the positive experiences people have with service providers. I kept coming back to Mike Dents Automotive and I'll tell you I'm glad I did. He called me personally and even listened I to my spiel about all of the info I saw online about the problem (not that he needed any of my input to diagnose the problem). He along with Mark showed genuine concern about our situation. He diagnosed the problem quickly and coincidentally it was the most prevalent fix for this entire problem that I saw on many forums. I felt confident in Mike that this was going to be the culprit of our problem. When we took a cab over to the shop to test drive it for an extended period the cab driver also had glowing things to say about Mikes shop claiming he was the best technician in OC. Boy did that further confirm we made the right choice. Just wanted to say the truck got us back home in great shape. Two sets of friends we got together with that have beach homes down there were unfamiliar with your shop and I told them he's your man for car repairs. Did I mention Mike was very reasonable and didn't in any way hold us hostage like some shops would in a tight spot. Thanks so much Mike/Mark and the gang. You truly did save our vacation! (Edit) 9/28/20 Mark went out of his way to help us diagnose our CEL when we were on our way home. He just told us to come over, dropped everything and tested it. Thank God it was nothing serious. You guys keep saving our butts down there and we are forever grateful. Lots of people we know are investing in vacation homes down there and we spread the word about your great service.
