It's been over a decade since having my trusty old Slant6-powered half ton pickup serviced by Mike, though in a single afternoon and early evening he swapped out the old head (3 of the 6 exhaust valves were done) for a remanufactured one. He hung in there until the repair was complete that evening, giving it his all, and was visible tired afterwards. He simply didn't want me to have to sleep in the back of my pickup's bed so work could continue the following day. And you know what? That old Montana State Highway half ton is still on wheels and running well to this day, a rancher purchasing it about 10 years ago. Now that's a fine repair job, and all for well $900 at the time. More than fair. Am always going to be appreciative of what Mike did for me that day. Both he and his brother Bill (across from the Walmart exit intersection with the traffic light) are top shelf, honest mechanics, though Bill is retiring with his family taking over the business. Thanks to both of you for being who you are.
