David Binder1 StarI used Normans before because they had a good reputation and had no issues. My truck stopped running so I decided to towed it to Normans. When they got to it I was told there was water in my diesel. I gave them the ok to drain the tank, fix it, and asked to check the truck over and I will fix anything else that is bad. They said it was good so I paid the bill and picked up my truck. A week later same thing. Truck won’t start. I paid another $150 tow and after they got to it, again a couple days later, I was told it was water in the diesel again. I told them I used a different gas station in a different city and it’s got to be something else going on. I called other mechanic shops and they claimed it could be the head gasket or injector sleeves. They insured me again that the truck is fine, hit me with another couple hundred dollar bill and I picked up my truck. I start the truck in their parking lot and it’s blowing white smoke. I asked again, is this ok and is everything else fine. Again, was told everything’s fine. I drove straight home and to my surprise the next morning my truck don’t start. I called and expressed my frustration. They told me to have it towed to their shop and they will look at it. I said “I’m thinking of bringing it to another shop” Tasha said “Well we support you if you want to bring it else where.” I paid for towing for the 3rd time because I wanted them to make it right. They kept my truck for two weeks, call me and said they think two injector sleeves are leaking the coolant in my diesel. I told them to change it if that’s the problem. Another week goes by and Today I am call and told my trucks ready. It’s $1300! Between 3 tows, their pointless fees, and 3 tanks of diesel I am well over 2k in this repair that should of been fixed the first time. I will not be returning nor referring anyone to Normans for now on. I highly suggest you do the same.Wednesday 10th November 2021
