I discovered that "something" was hanging off beneath my car and wasn't sure I should drive with it like that. I went to Palmer Auto first thing in the morning without an appointment, and they graciously took a look at it for me even though they were short-handed that day. They were able to diagnose and fix it and I was on my way in less than an hour and a half. Fabulous service, great people, and affordable. I will DEFINITELY use their services in the future!

I've been using Palmer for 11 years now ever since we moved to Chelsea. I prefer supporting small businesses and have come to trust and rely on Palmer for all of my vehicles that need service. Very professional and knowledgeable. They explain everything that they find and the estimates are accurate. They people that work there are great and I enjoy just talking to them when I'm in there. My most recent service for my F150 turned out better than I expected and the problems could have been much more expensive than they were. They also delivered my truck to my house after paying for the service over the phone. They offer that to everyone. It was the first time I took them up on that because I couldn't find time to pick it up. Great business and people!

Palmer was above and beyond. I needed to have my transmission cable replaced and they made it super easy and saved me some much needed money. Stephanie was very communicative and reassuring. Thank you all for you help! I will absolutely be back the next time I need service.

Very friendly service, but far more expensive than I expected! I took my 2009 Honda Civic in for a transmission fluid flush, and to diagnose a worn engine mount, and was charged over $500!! Over $400 for the flush, and an additional $60 fee just to look everything else over, without fixing anything. I was shocked. My car is 12 years old, and not an expensive model, therefore I did not expect to pay the highest end possible for a transmission fluid flush. They also gave me a $1,000 estimate to fix the worn out engine mount (plus two more they predicted will need replacing). Meanwhile, a coworker found the engine mount I needed online for $85, ordered it, and changed it for me for free. I’m new in town, and Palmer was recommended by a friend, but I won’t be going back at these rates. I recommend asking up front what your cost is going to be for services and repairs, so you’re not caught off guard.
