I did not have a good experience with this company. I hired them back in 2020 to upgrade my panel to 200 amps in hopes to resolve flickering lights I was experiencing throughout my house. They did a fine job with that installation (add 1 star) but it did not fix the issue. They also left a piece of the old wiring attached to my house (thank you energy company for removing that. The lights were driving me crazy so I hired them again to find the source of the flickering. I also needed to move a single outlet 2 feet to the right. Long story short, they charged me for 17 collective hours (3 days) and it cost me $2600. They ended up finding a few outlets that needed to be fixed due to reverse polarity but their apprentice also cut a daisy chain connection to my kitchen lights so it forced an additional day. Luckily I got a $200 discount for climbing into the attic myself to fish out the wires (face first in cellulose insulation) because their apprentice did not like insulation and the electrician could not fit. Nothing better than hiring an electrician who leaves you no choice but to do their job… Regarding the light flickering, it ended up being insufficient feed to the panel (at least that’s what I was told). I wish they tested that first and not at the end after performing tasks I did not request. Also, to add insult to the fact they did not solve my flickering lights and poorly installed my outlet (which I had to fix), they also left my attic a disaster (photo attached). Do not recommend!

Peter and crew installed the wiring for a portable gas generator. Peter was extremely responsive, showed up to appointments on time and was cost competitive compared to other electricians. Peter had to wait for a part to come back midway and finish a very small portion of the work and he did not charge me a penny till all the work was done. After the work was done, Peter's crew patiently explained how the generator should be operated and left printed instructions for future reference. I was very happy overall with PJA electric and would highly recommend their services.
