My regular tire and service team told me I had a transmission problem they could not fix.I asked who they would take their vehicle to for the same thing. They said, “Powers Transmission”. I understand why! From the moment I dropped it off the people at Powers were friendly and straight-forward. They kept me informed of progress everyday, worked hard with my warranty company to ensure full payment, did great work and provided exceptional customer service. I have dealt with scores of auto repair companies in my life time. Many that were very good. None were as good as my experience with Powers Transmission. Special note of appreciation to David and Sarah. I heartily recommend them to anyone in the Greater Lexington area.

David was great with explaining all of the steps, the different issues, and what they were considering, always asked for my okay and made sure that I was informed. I appreciated the detailed work, the individualized attention my car got instead of just a quick replacement. Would definitely return for other needs.

My truck had to have a transmission and computer. I was making monthly payments and had only paid approximately$1,500 when it was done. The lady Ms Pam in the office called on her own time and found someone who would give me a loan without taking my title and I was able to pick up my car immediately. Thank you Ms Pam and powers team for all your help and great work. May God continue to bless you and keep you.

Took my wives VW Passat in thinking it had transmission issues. Was told they were reading a code for MAF sensor and they cleared the code instead of putting new sensor on. But insisted it was the transmission computer module that was the issue. Charged me $1500 for the computer. When in reality, changing the sensor could of been the issue the whole time with a $100 fix instead. Not to mention I had to call 2 times and eventually picked my car up before the owner called to inform me what the issue was. As he was concerned I was going to take my business elsewhere. Stay away unless you want to pay $$$ that is not needed.
