Military Friendly- Worked Quickly to Help PCS Vehicle: 2011 F150 King Ranch V6 4WD When I was shipping my vehicle OCONUS for a PCS move, my vehicle failed inspection because the E-brake wouldn’t hold when I “gave it gas”. Regardless of this ridiculous standard set by the VPC, I needed to get my E-brake fixed/tightened up so that I could PCS and get the hell out of dodge. It was a 4-day weekend, midst of the pandemic and supply chain issues, and almost every shop was either (1) booked up or (2) were missing the parts needed to completely replace my e-brake system. After going through the entire Yelp Phonebook, I called this Precision Auto Tune location and they told me they understood the importance of my military PCS move and to come in first thing Monday morning. I came in, and they quickly identified how they could best assist me given the limited time and parts. They: (1) Adjusted my parking-brake cables multiple times, (and tested them) to get the best performance out of them w/o causing additional Wear and tear. (2) Fixed the spring on my parking break lever so that it would fully retract when I released it. (3) Put new cuffs on to replace the worn out, rusted ones that might’ve been causing problems. (4) Successfully ID’d the cause of my long-lasting TPMS light issue. (TPMS batteries were dead). They did all of this same day and had me out of there by 2PM. Not only did they take the time and effort to help me last minute, but they explained the reasoning behind everything and didn’t try to convince me to replace my perfectly good Parking Break Cables (unlike other repair shops had). On top of this, they tested my vehicle multiple times and gave me small-but significant military discount! —- Vehicle passed inspection with flying covers, despite the VPC idiocy of testing an E-brake up to 1000RPM. I’m very thankful for the team at this location and the service they provided me, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good people.
