Ran into some rather serious issue I had encountered while in Pagosa. Believed it could be something serious (I'm not at all a mechanic) based on where I could hear some rather odd noises. Contacted CD on 12/31 at 8pm! CD said to meet him at his shop in the morning. He immediately made me a priority and diagnosed the issue ON NEW YEARS DAY!! Very professional, very respectful and got the job done.

Dont use this BUSINESS HE AMD HIS Daddy will rip you off.part your vehical out trying to find your issue.Because he needs training.Dot know what there doing.gets mad at customers subjection and want let you talk. Cause he asks like a child....t

Good mechanic and whatever issues are not obvious he figures out as he gets into it. Able to think out of the box, not just a "parts changer" as many dealers are today. A mil. Hummer is not a "by the book" vehicle. Showed up with a helper shortly after my call. Travelled to where I was in Pagosa with a mobile repair truck on Sat evening, then came back near midnight to help with a brake issue I did not see at first. Got the parts I needed and put me back on the road. I'd likely be stuck in Pagosa for 2 more days otherwise. Price was not overly cheap but fair, I'd expect to pay premium for this kind of service. This guy is honest, not a rippoff at all. Earning a living by doing a lot of good. Draws respect in my book. Looked at some of the negative reviews and I'd tend to side with CD. This guy may not be Mr. Personality but it's not what I called him for. I might get short too if I was on a call 24/7 and then have to address silly questions too. My neighbor's shop has a sign: "Our labor rate is $60 per hour, $200 per hour if you keep looking over my shoulder". If you can not or the man does not need your help stay out of his way and quiet. Customers are not allowed in shop's working areas anyway. Certainly appreciate CD's help.

My friends and I were visiting from Denver when my battery died on a Saturday night. We spent hours looking for an auto repair shop to help us on Sunday morning and all were closed, including O'reillys and Walmart auto services. We all started to get concerned as we had to get back to Denver to work on Monday. Fortunately, Cheric from Protouch answered our call and quickly came out to meet us to run a diagnostic test. He was able to jump us so that we could drive to his auto shop which saved me money and time on calling a tow truck (we had two other cars try to jump us prior to that with no success). He quickly installed a new battery and we were able to head out from Pagosa by 1pm! Cheric was very friendly, informative, communicative, and knowledgeable throughout the time we spent with him. I personally recommend going to him FIRST if you ever need auto repair/maintenance in the Pagosa Springs area!! THANK YOU CHERIC!!

This man came out timely, to check problem with our RV. We paid him for parts and labor, which he was going to do in a week. It's been a month, he will not return calls, and it looks like he is not going to do the work. Guess we'll have to take him to small claims court.
