Was helped out by Lamar to get my clutch installed, he took great care of me & made sure the job was done right! No issues, all done correctly, and didn’t try to up sale me like other shops do. I had my clutch upgraded to a stage 3 clutch at a shop in Chula Vista on my 17 Civic Si and that mechanic did more damage than actually doing the job.  I had my downpipe and front pipe reinstalled incorrectly, my shifter kept locking me out of gears, metallic sound as I drive in low RPMs, and an oil leak from my turbo oil return hose!  My knock control was staying very high since i received my vehicle from the clutch job.  The mechanic couldn’t fix what he damaged so I took it to Lamar at Proline. I contacted Lamar/Owner to readjust my KWV2 coilovers for more ground clearance.  He was very welcoming and accommodating on the phone.  My experience in person was even better!  Very professional and keeps it real.  I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. He also gave great advice for all my other automotive questions. Lamar and his team have my highest recommendation and I look forward to future work with Proline! Thank you Lamar and staff! Lamar was honestly the most considerate, trustworthy, personable, honest, friendly, sincere mechanic I ever met! Held to his timeline and fixed my 2000 323ci engine light problem and more: oil change, brakes and rotors, tie rods, alignment, and ventilation system for a very reasonable price (I called around). He answered the phone when I called confirming deadline as I only have that one car. I really appreciate this place. Everyone is really nice. I will be back in 5000 miles for sure! If you are looking for an honest and reasonably priced mechanic, then Lamar is your guy! I have been coming to him for years and have gotten nothing but pure satisfaction from him. Not only does he fix my car in a timely manner, but he does not overcharge like dealerships and other mechanics do! I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone in the East County area! These guys are awesome. I took my car in because it would shake every time I pressed the brake. Lamar inspected it and told me my rotors were bad and my shocks were leaking. After getting a quote from Toyota for $2600, I was going to expect something close. My entire car was fixed for under $1000 bucks! That included an Oil Change, Rotors, shocks and an alignment.  My car will be going to them from now on.
