Dillon5 StarHad a grinding noise at low speeds. Tire Kingdom in Stuart told me it was my brake rotors and they needed to be replaced. That didn't sound right so I went to Goodyear in Palm City. They said it was my transmission. Still didn't sound right to me. Next was Reyes. After a quick drive around the parking lot, they put it up on a lift and showed me that one of the U-joints in my drive shaft was badly worn. After replacing it, the grinding noise is gone.
Also, while waiting, I looked up a rough cost estimate for U-joint replacement online. Reyes came in below that estimate.
