Took in vehicle for a Maryland State Inspection as well as Tags and Title. Went here since I could do both at this location. Very pleased with the service and price. Inspection went well. Find one item that needed repaired. That repair was done quickly and at a fair price. After that, walked down to the next door to get tags and title done. So much easier than going to the MVA. High recommend these guys.

It's far too easy to be unscrupulous as a mechanic, since most car owners can't verify a problem, or dispute much that goes on under the hood. Mike has been a trusted Keeper of Our Cars for 15 years now. He's super honest, humble, polite, and a great mechanic. Exceeded Expectations! This was my first visit to Ricasa Automotive, via a referral, and it exceeded my expectations. In this case, I came in for a Maryland inspection following a vehicle purchase. First, Mike was able to get me in super-quickly. More-importantly, while I've had other garages attempt to take advantage of the Maryland Inspection situation ("Well, we can fix these items right now for [obviously inflated price], or you can come back..."), there were no hints of that, here. Also, the garage was huge and the equipment up-to-date. Definitely recommend.

Went to Mike based on a recommendation from a friend. I had intended on leaving the car and coming back but when he overheard me giving directions to my bride he said he could take it right away, so she didn't have to drive over and I just waited. I came for an oil change and asked he look at the Brakes (which he said he does automatically), came back in the waiting room a few minutes later holding one of my brake pads, told me I could probably make it to the next oil change but he could change them out if I wanted, which I did, he then showed me a photo on his phone of a large chip out of the Oil Plug housing, telling me that it'll hold but should be replaced and explained that one of my previous oil changes was done with the wrong tool and he'd seen it several times before. He'd make a note for next time. Bottom Line, I walked away with a real sense that this guy's an honest, straight shooter... I value that above all else. Both my cars are now going to go to Ricasa Automotive from now on.
