Great people have always been fair and upfront with me and has helped me out more times then I can count. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I have options to take my truck anywhere and I choose to take it up the hill to have Rick fix the problems.. Some people do not like his upfront no nonsense way of telling it like it is. I personally like it because I know where I stand every time I go in there. I highly recommend you would be hard pressed to find a better mechanic then Rick.

Took our car in for head gasket repairs. They refused an estimate stating prices change to much and too fast and they no longer do any estimates of any sort. What we thought would only cost about $1500 ended up being $2500 as they decided, without talking to us first, to do the timing belt and other unneeded and unwanted repairs. The timing belt ended up failing and our car stopped working all together. When we took it back in, they were hostile and nasty, yelling at us in person as well as over the phone. We had set up payment arrangements and had been paying them so when we received a text saying the car was ready we told them we would pick it up. This was after the repair of their UNAUTHORIZED repair. We figured with the payment arrangements as well as with the text saying it was ready that we were able to get the car. We also never received a text back saying no when we said we were on the way to get it. They then reported our car stolen and threatened us with theft of service. I do not recommend using them. They care more about their contracts with their big clients than they do about every day people.

Not a very good experience I called them 3 days in advance and told him I was having problems with my front end of my vehicle and I didn't want to drive it to the nearest Big City. I went there Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. as they requested and I explained to them that I was in a conversion van and I was traveling throughout the United States with two dogs. When I got there at 9:00 a.m., they said they were sorry they couldn't see me because they were too behind. They promised they would call me back in an hour to give me a time when they can look at it, they never did. I drove in the next day and they basically said that I have to drop off the van because they couldn't tell me when they can look it. I explained to him again that I was living in the van with my dogs on a cross country trip he said that I was going to have to figure that out myself. Looks to me he has a great business being the only mechanic in this small town and he has a lot of business from the locals but when it comes to tourist he could care less. Why schedule an appointment 3 days in advance to look at someone's vehicle and then blow them off when you get there. Poor customer service. But again, why should he care as he has his local clientele. He could care less about the tourists that need help. Thank goodness I have AAA. I'm just going to have them tow me down the mountain 20 miles. I've already spoke to a mechanic there and they will provide the transportation to and from the motel 6 that I booked.
