Did an awesome performance build on my “hotrod” very happy with the experience. Steve and Jeremy talked me through the build process. Helped me put together a parts list and executed the install flawlessly all for a very reasonable price. I honestly feel they went above and beyond to make my experience a great one and from what I hear that’s a common practice. If you’re looking for some honest mechanics with a great turn around time and skill these are the guys. I will definitely continue to work with them. Would highly recommend!

S & L Enterprises and Repair 738 West Hwy 39 Blackfoot ID 83221 My Wife and I have only been in Blackfoot for a few months now and we were happy to get a recommendation to S & L Enterprises and Repair from one of ôur new friends. I called for quotes for work on my truck this morning.  I noticed immediately that the person who answered the phone was very friendly and professional.  The quote I received was extremely reasonable.  Matter of fact, the quote I was given for the labor / repairs was the best price of the 3 places I called for estimates n Blackfoot. I was told to come on down with the truck, which I did; fully intending to be there for the rest of the day.  The labor hours were estimated at about 3 hours. When I walked in it was difficult not to notice the cleanliness of the shop.  All of the shops tools were neatly arranged and put up. The floors were clean, no big piles of liquid or gunk on the floors anywhere. I was very impressed with the mechanic, Jeremy; his knowledge and efficiency. I arrived at the shop at exactly 10:22am and the truck was finished, bill paid and out the door, at 12:12pm  (noon).  I realize that every day at S & L Auto Shop is probably different - I may have to wait longer the next time I come in, depending how busy the shop is. Nevertheless, I surprised my wife returning back home so quickly (just in time for lunch!). The final bill was almost exactly what I was quoted (technically the bill was $16.07 less than the verbal quote). To say that I highly recommend S & L Enterprises and Repair is an understatement. Thank you, again, Jeremy and S & L Enterprises and Repair. I have not been this impressed by a Automotive Repair Shop in quite áwhile!  I know exactly where I can take my truck to for future repairs, without concern to ŵhether or not we will get what we paid for!! Friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and fairly priced - I would highly recommend S & L for the next servicing or preventative maintenance for your car or truck. Purchased from eBay, my ’96 Lexus LX450 - a rebadged Toyota Land Cruiser 80 - was located in Tetonia, ID (I'm in the Philly, PA area). I learned the hard way that it’s difficult to get something shipped that’s located that remotely without paying a small fortune. So while I worked on getting the Lexus picked up in Blackfoot or, worst case, picked up in SLC, I had the truck dropped off at S & L on a referral for some needed repairs and maintenance. S & L replaced or repaired the following items while my truck was there - the valve head cover gasket, a broken headlamp, a damaged panel of body cladding on the driver door, and the rotted factory front speakers. They also performed routine maintenance like fluid changes and tire rotation. I worked with Jeremy who was courteous, responsive to my many inquiries, and quite knowledgeable about Toyota and Lexus vehicles. In addition to the aforementioned servicing the truck received, I asked that he inspect the vehicle overall for necessary maintenance and the undercarriage for any damage or worn components. My thought was that if I had a week or more to wait before getting the vehicle shipped to me on the east coast, I might as well get the vehicle prepared for the mandatory PA state vehicle inspection and emissions tests that were to come. At no time did Jeremy attempt to sell me on any servicing I didn’t need and, in fact, sent me a picture (among many progress pics) of a test they performed on the vehicle for head gasket failure to show that it passed the test and did not require head gasket replacement. A less reputable mechanic may have taken advantage of the fact that I was out of state and taking their word about servicing needs of my Lexus. Overall, I am quite happy with the level of service they provided and would without hesitation recommend them.
