If you're looking for an auto repair shop that is fair, friendly and reliable look no further! I've been going to Schaumann Auto Electric for over nine years now with a fleet of 15 different vehicles, plus my own. In hundreds of different interactions over the years, I've never once had a complaint, or been dissatisfied with their service. Mark runs the shop and he really cares about his customers. Decietful practice! Original owner & brain child behind this longstanding business met with unfortunate circumstances and thus was sold to proprietor of a different shop southwest on Forest Home looking to expand his business. This is why no more activity or commerce transpires at the now vacant National Ave. shop across street from V.A. Hospital. A sign in that door says there's been a change of location to Forest Home; misleading one to believe it's the same business with the same original guy- Mark -still at the helm, but just at a new spot. Not at all so and new proprietor knows customers seeking these specialized services long available at the National Ave. location would likely not pursue him if they knew the truth; so withhold informtion to mislead is the strategy of the day. When discovering this i of course took my business elsewhere; and had he just been forthcoming with the truth, i might have taken the risk and considered giving his shop a chance to earn my business.
