So many other glowing reviews. I must have caught them on a bad day! Oh well. Edit: I was told it could take 3 hours at $130 and hour with no guarantee that the problem would even be found due to the nature of the issue I was describing. The half hour time frame I threw out was basically to reiterate back to the employee that I would be charged for time with no guarantee of services. This is not the first shop I have sought a quote at, however, it was by far the rudest and most expensive. The answers I received were delivered in a manner I felt to be rude and uninformed and did not convey to me a sense of confidence nor competence. I would love a phone call from the owner to discuss my car issues as well as voice my concerns over the problematic customer service I experienced! It is apparent from the response that the owner has received a one sided version of the story from the employee who was interacting with me without investigating the reason why I was so displeased. I will happily pay $130 for an hour if I can get a friendly “hello” at the very least when I walk in the door! Bonus if they can tell me what’s wrong with my car ;)

This place is the best! They treated me with respect and cared about my vehicle concerns like they were thier own concerns. They gave a thorough report on my vehicle diagnosis complete with pictures, video, and well written notes. I love that they send updates via text and also email. They want me to be well informed to make a good decision. Star automotive gets all my business and all my referrals!

My experience with STAR automotive, Dave, and the team was beyond what I had expected. Especially since I was traveling and simply driving through town when my vehicles check engine light came on. They were super friendly, professional, and downright great guys! I walked in with my anxiety on high alert and on the verge of tears. Though they were busy and booked up (in the middle of an impending snowstorm a just a week before the holidays), Dave was able to check my car and make me feel MUCH better. If I was a local, this would for sure be my go-to spot for regular maintenance on all of my vehicles.
