I had a great experience here. I brought my vehicle from 4 hours away because James was recommended to me by someone I trust for GM LS engines. I had bought a used Tahoe that had a 5.3 converted to a 6.9 that was leaking coolant from the head gasket. James did the repair for me and was able to sort out a few other things and inspected the engine while the heads were off. I think when people review shops and maybe when it's their first time there you have to have the right context. A few things about Sweet's: Faye, the secretary almost always answers the phone every time you call (and I called often). They didn't return every email I sent right away, but that's why calling is sometimes better, and how quickly a shop replies to emails is not high on the list to whether or not it's a great shop to me. James is an expert in LS engines, probably other things too but that's exactly what I was looking for in my case. They are honest here (recommended some things that I wasn't aware of, and they also told me I didn't need some things that I asked about). Labor rate here is VERY fair. And when you have a 10+ hour repair job that makes a big difference. I also want to say that they did not get my repair done "right away", but I dropped the vehicle off and luckily I wasn't in a situation where I needed it back right away, so it wasn't a big deal, and whenever I called for an update they gave me updates. It's possible I could have taken it somewhere and they would have gotten it done sooner but also charge me 2x as much. Very happy with my experience here.

Very good & professional business & business man. The employees all have a smile on there face all day everyday and Tells you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle, & if something else is bad while they are underneath the hood or underneith the body of your vehicle on the car hoist. Himself or the next ranking employee will let you know right then & there or if your gone they will have the secretary give you a call & let you know what the mechanic thinks about it, if it needs attention now or it can wait because they understand a tight budget. They will also have the old price quote and a new price quote already to go so you can see the price difference if you wanted to just say yeah and fix it all.

Great place, very professional, and the employees are great, they did a wonderful job fixing my car, very affordable and I would definitely recommend my friends and family to take their vehicles to them to have them fixed.

We got a recommendation from a friend a while back when we needed a motor in my daughter's car. The service was amazing and the car runs great! Since then we've had two transmissions repaired or replaced and both are excellent! If you're looking for a reliable repair shop then these guys are it!
