$2560 in parts and labor. Keith was the representative that I spoke with, he was not very friendly, he didn't give me the inspection that he promised. They replaced my distributor, spark plugs, wires and, water pump. The picture below shows the water pump which they did not tighten all the bolts on. I had to do it myself. I will not be returning.

I was just trying to get a 'last minute' oil change 4 days before Christmas. I had gone to my usual shop and they wanted to schedule me a week out. I had heard of Thunderbird, they were only about a mile away, so I thought "why not?". Long story short - I have never been to an automotive shop where I felt more welcomed, where they were willing to bend over backward to help a customer and were absolutely professional and easy to deal with. They said they had just had a cancellation for an 8:00 oil change (it was 7:45) and could work me in and that it would take about an hour (out by 9:00). 45 minutes later at 8:15 my car was ready! They will have me as a customer for a long, long time...thank you Thunderbird!

I was looking for a well qualified shop to take over the repair duties on our 4x4 & 2 Mustangs. Im a retired mechanic of 45 years and im very picky.. Due to extreme medical issues, I can no longer perform the necessary repairs or maintence as needed. UPDATE 9/6/2020 It appears that the few honest people have left working there about a year the go including managers and mechanics and the new ones are very rude and deceitful and not trustworthy at all. I would highly recommend everyone stay away from this place. they tried to double charge me for catastrophic rear end damage that they themselves caused starting with a rear end leak in which turned into complete destruction of the entire rear end. they were the party that damaged the gears and all the associated seals and bearings inside in the first place a few months prior. they were trying to sell me on all new seals and bearings knowing very well that the ring and pinion gears were destroyed do to them using a punch and a heavy duty hammer and pound on the crush sleeve which is a very big No-No, and that the simple replacement of the seals and bearings would not have eliminated that very bad howling noise I had experienced. The entire rear end was completely shot from metal filings circulating all through the oil and ruining wheel bearings pinion bearings compression bearings seals and the ring and pinion gear. The total cost was almost $2,500 from what started out as a simple pinion seal leak. I ended up having to take the car down to Bell Ford to have it professionally repaired and that's where the Ford specific mechanics at Bell Ford showed me the damage that Thunderbird auto did. once I showed the owners of Thunderbird Auto the damages they did with pictures taken from Bell Ford mechanics. The Thunderbird Auto owner offered to pay for the entire bill which was very appreciative but the fact they tried to scam me in the beginning left a very bitter taste in my mouth I would not recommend them to anybody. their mechanics, owners and managers are not the same people as they were a couple of years ago do yourself a favor and find a different vehicle repair facility. this is just my experience. UPDATE April 2021, After reading the owners response, he forgot the main issue. he was not honest with me after repairing the job the first time. there is no mechanic on earth that can tear apart a 8.8 Ford rear end, change the seals & oil and not notice the chewed up ring & pinion gears. which by the way put the car in an extremely dangerous condition and then releases it that way to the owner?? really? by the owner allowing his Mechanic to change out the wheel bearings, axle seals and oil and then put it back together without inspecting the main ring & pinion gear is PURE NEGLAGENCE! and THAT IMO is why he offered not to charged me and to go elsewhere, His own mechanic argued with me when we test drove the car and I complained to him that the same noise was still there, his mechanic said it was nothing to worry about and became very defensive. it was then after I raised this issue with the owner that he said he wouldn't charge me, to just go get the car. I can only imagine the look on his face when Bell Ford called me and sent me pictures of exactly where the hammer & punch was used. anyone can enlarge those photos and see the 3 dots where it was hit very hard and the result of that is what destroyed everything. one has to understand how a rear end works and how critical it is to use micrometers, setting the backlash precise etc. The Thunderbird owner can say whatever he wants but owners just do not say OK your right and we will pay a dealership to fix whatever it needs. The PROOF IS RIGHT THERE IN THE PICS and Thunderbird can't talk his way out of this one. if ANYONE doesn't believe me, they can simply call Bell Ford's Service and ask for my approval and I will release any forms or pictures requested. to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that thunderbird Auto Caused this problem and put my life and my Wife's life in danger by releasing a car not road worthy.

I’m new to the area and I was blessed to use this shop on Reems. They diagnosed and repaired my van in 1 day. They check everything and told me I didn’t need somethings I thought ai did. I recommend this shop for all your automotive needs!
