We have the latest technology and equipment for any transmission repair service on any make and model vehicle. We have the expertise to determine if a problem is electrical or a hydraulic control issue that can be repaired without a complete rebuild. Custom rebuilds, Heavy-duty, and high-performance rebuilds are available, which are all done in-house. We love working on old and new custom cars. At Transmission City & Automotive Specialists, we don’t want you to worry about anything—which is why we service just about everything. Here are just a few of the car problems we can handle, and why you should choose us over the other guys: Oil Changes - Regular vehicle oil changes should be done every 3000 to 5000 miles depending on the age of the vehicle and the manufacturer's recommendation. Oil breaks down over time from protecting the engine against friction and heat and loses its effectiveness as a lubricant... So we took our car in to get a new clutch and they installed it wrong! I came in nicely to try to resolve it and try to get my money back but they refused taking him to small claims court. Not willing to pay for their mistakes!

If you don't already work closely with a transmission repair shop then please don't waste your time elsewhere. Transmission city also gives free transmission diagnoses. Honest, quick , fair .

Very Helpful and Honest!!! I was traveling through to the central part of the state. I was pulling a small 10ft enclosed trailer with my SUV. I noticed the "A/T Temp" the light on my instrument panel came on! I got off the freeway. I called and talked to Mark. I told him the situation, it was close to 5:00 in the afternoon, they close at 6:00 I was expecting him turn me away since it was so late in the afternoon, but he said that he would take a look at it. He checked the fluid level, scanned it with his scanner and even took the time to take it for a test drive. When he came back after the test drive, he said everything looked good! He then gave me some good advice on how to tow with a heaver load. I made it to my destination without any issues. I'm very grateful to Mark at Transmission City he could have easily told me that I had to buy or pay for something that is now apparently not needed. If I ever have the need for some transmission work, I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Transmission City after that experience! If there was 6 stars for the rating, I would give them 7 stars, I'm that impressed!!! Thank you!!!

I had my transmission rebuilt here less than a year ago and it has been nothing but a headache since. Every ~2 months a new issues with the transmission comes up and I have to take it back to the shop where the car sits for several weeks before they get it working again. This has happened 4 times in less than a year. Their work was completely unreliable and they don't want to give you the time of day when you come in for a warranty issue. I ended up having to sell my car at a loss (plus the price of the rebuild) because I wasn't comfortable leaving town with it. Take you car somewhere else.
