While traveling on I-10 back to Houston with my entire family on board the transmission in my 2005 Expedition went out. Finding a trustworthy repair shop while traveling is hard enough but dealing with a transmission repair extra difficult. The guys at the shop were upfront and honest about what was going on and kept me informed of the progress during diagnosis. Turns out my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I could not figure out why a transmission would fail with no warning signs, poof just out of the blue. The team Xtreme took the time to study the break down They pinpointed it to a warped flex plate and replaced that as well. In fact they said the first flex plate they ordered did not meet their specifications, so they send it back and had another delivered. All in at this point, the guys even stayed late on... I went in with what I thought was a transmission problem. These guys fit me in to their schedule immediately. They informed me that it was in fact not my transmission but a bearing. They worked through the night until the job was complete, and the price was right too! These guys proved to me through their actions that they are honest and hard working and I don’t have a problem recommending them to anyone, ever. Thank you guys for helping me when I really needed things to go smoothly! A million thank you’s. Did a great job.Originally took my vehicle to a "chain" mechanic shop because the belt was squealing. They told me my A/C compressor was locking up ($1300). That just didn't seem right.I decided to get a second opinion. And boy am I glad I found these guys. They found out it was only the tensioner pulley going bad. They changed it out and had it ready for me the next day. They saved me a $1000.I recommend Xtreme 100%
